Load on a computer the drivers included with your device using the installation disc. If you have the installation disk, you can find the drivers on the website Konica Minolta (see References section).

Connect the 163 to your server using standard network cables. Once you’ve loaded the drivers scanning your computer desktop server and automatically locate the copier 163 once you are connected to the network or to a computer via network cables.

Place your documents face up in the feeder documents of the 163.

Press the “Scan” (Scan) on the main panel 163. This will bring it to scan mode.

Choose a destination. Once you’re in the scanning mode, you can select where you want to store the documents scanned. Depending on the configuration of your scan settings, choose to scan to a shared folder, to an email or a desktop destination.
